In Wales, we had reservation at
Abbeyfield Hotel in the town of Bangor north east of Wales.

The interior are purely English styled countryside hotel with fireplace and antique English furniture.
We booked 2 nights at this hotel. The package comes with English breakfast served with toast bread, beans, eggs, potatoes, mushrooms and oat porridge.

The hotel sits right beside the railway track. The trains sped by right outside the window every minute but that doesn’t bother us since it traveled at lightning speed.
We left the hotel right after breakfast to tour northwest part Wales. On the way we stopped over a small village called called Beddgelert to ease ourselves. Surprisingly, the scenery is extremely beautiful.

We drove to the town of
Portmerion where the famous Portmeirion ceramic originated.
The cost to enter their park is 9 pound each. Too expensive considering our plan is only to get to their seconds outlet shop.

We don’t have the time to venture into their gardens. So we stay in the park enjoying our lunch that we had bought at the fish and chips outlet. We took the fish with Lingham sauce that we had brought along.
Stop over by the small town of Betws-y-Coed. The sun is bright. Lots of English men & women in the park.

Later we drove thro Snowdonian mountain range. We cut across Nant Peris pass via
Llanberis to cross Snowdonia over to the west coast town of Caermafon. Nant Peris is the home of the slate stones used to line the roads in Wales.

We then proceed to Holywell port, most western part of Wales that host ferry services between UK and Ireland.
Drove back to the hotel. On the way we saw a Thai foot outlet and stop-over to buy 2 pack of tomyam. We prepared rice and had dinner with tomyam, kicap Tamin and scrambled eggs that we cook in the rice cooker. We kept the other pack of tomyam for the next day.
