Kulim - Radhiya got Married

It is Chinese New Year Sunday and we had to travel north to Kulim on Saturday. My niece Radhiya, daughter to my younger sister residing in Taman Kenari Kulim is getting married to her sweetheart schoolmate. She works as a doctor at Sungai Petani General hospital. Radhiya is the eldest children of 5 girls. She was born in the US when my sister got married to her current husband while they were students in Iowa. She goes to Bandar Baru primary school while staying with my late mother. She then went for further study to Sekolah Ugama Klang and later to UNIMAS to do MEDIC. She was close to Bang Mat & Kak Mun during her stay in Kuching. Both of them flew to KL to see her getting married in Kulim.

We left early at 5pm anticipating heavy traffic flow due to the long weekend. From home we use DUKE to get to the North South Expressway which will take us all the way to Penang. Traffic starts to build up as we enter the highway. It was not that bad as we are able to maintain speed of 100km all the way to Sungkai. Then it starts to slow down as the 3 way lane converged to 2 lane at Sungkai. We exit to use the old Federal Route to the north. The road is a mix of 2 lane and single lane highway and the travel was smooth. The sun is rising and we had to stop quick for the subuh prayer. Stop at Tapah mosque to pray. Had nasik lemak from the local stall for breakfast. We join back NS highway at Tapah. The traffic is smooth all the way to Kulim. We exit at Jawi to get to Kulim passing thro' Sg Bakap and Junjung.

The wedding reception starts at 12.00 the bridegroom arrived at 1.00pm. Take photos and all the stuff. Met old relatives and exchange phone numbers.
