Kota Bharu

A close relative to my wife got married over the weekend on Sunday.
We rented a homestay bungalow close to Kubang Kerian called Suria Homestay. It was a brand new house owned by En Zukie. I found the house published for rent in the internet. Cost RM250 for one night and 200 for subsequent days. It has 4 rooms.

We left KL in 3 cars right before subuh prayers on Saturday morning. We stop for the morning prayers at Bentong mosque. Then we travelled towards Raub and had breakfast of roti canai & nasi lemak at a food outlet infront of Telekom Office Raub. One of the nicest roti canai I had ever had. We left Raub at 8am and reached Kota Bharu at 1.30pm.
We had lunch at Hover restaurant close to PAS HQ. They served ayam kampung. After lunch we drove to Kubang Kerian to checked-in. At night, we had ayam percik at Yati Ayam Percik. Next morning we had local nasi kerabu.

Next day Sunday we went to the wedding at Palekbang. My wife had spent some of her early teenage days in Palekbang. Later we went to Rantau Panjang a tax-free Outlet close to Thailand border. Then we had dinner at Pantai Cahaya Bulan.

On Monday morning we were ready to pack for home.

Reached KL 930pm. Alhamdulillah semua selamat sampai.
