Stoke onTrent, Liskeard, Cornwall, South England - Day 9 of May 26

After spending 2 nights at  Abbeyfield Hotel Bangor Wales, we packed up and drove to Liskeard, South England. We start early since the journey is expected to take 7 hours for 520 km trip.

We passed the town of Liverpool and Manchester.

Bangor Wales to Stoke on Trent

After 2 hours on the road, we broke our journey at the town of Stoke-on-Trent to buy ceramic wares for the wife. Stopped at Churchill and Portmerion   factory shops. There were sales all over the place in Stoke on Trent in preparation for the school holidays the following week.

We drove over to Spode factory shop but found closed to the public. The wife had some collection of Spode wares in our kitchen inventory. Some bought in UK during our previous visit and some from KL Spode outlet in Great Eastern Mall.

We left Stoke-on-Trent after having lunch at one of the Pakistani fish & chips  halal shop outlet. Also ordered fried chicken. Kept some for our dinner.

The drive took us thro' town of Bristol, Exeter & Plymouth. Arrived at our hotel at Great Threthew Manor, Liskeard Cornwall England at 9.30pm. Upon arrival, the short distance from the main road to the hotel is quite scary with eerie sounds coming from the woods. We were greeted by a huge hound dog at the lobby area. The next day we found out that the owner owned huge hotel ground in the countryside rearing all kinds of animals.
