Osaka Day 3 - Umeda & Den Den Town

This is the 3rd day we were in Osaka. It was raining since last night. The hotel reception offered us umbrellas.Even though it was drizzling, but enough to get us wet. Had tepoyaki for brekkfast or rather brunch. There we always long queue for this local dish. We ordered a pack of 8 piece for yen450 with daun bawang, mayonaisse, slices of dried tuna toppings. Had them with cokes.

We took the subway again to Yodobashi Camera Outlet in Umeda to buy perfune and watches as souvenoirs for the kids at home. The price were quite competitive compared to the rest of the outlet we visited. Umeda is only 4 station away from Namba subway station.

We later went to Den Den town. The place is popular with electronic gadgets. Did not buy anything here since we had spent enough at Yodobashi Camera outlet.

The place where we we staying has streets of covered walking pavement and thus the rain does not concern us much. We return back to hotel early since we were expecting to meet with our Japanese adopted daughter at 6.30. As usual the japanese were always on time, just like their train which depart and arrived on the minute. She was at our hotel door by 630. Had a long chat since the last time we met was 12 years ago when she was staying with us during student exchange problem in our community school. I had been communicating with her using emails ever since. We later had dinner with the usual rice, soup, fish and veggies. She did not stay with the parents but rather renting close to the office for the convenience of commuting. Tonite she will be going back to her parent house to prepare their house to receive us since we were planning to spend 2 nights there.
